Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

I might need to change my major to sculpture! Cody? Check out that art... really, get a good look, it will be melted by tomorrow! If you can't tell, this is an almost life-size snow sculpture of "Peaches", the baby woolly mammoth from the movie Ice Age, in my front yard. We got over a foot of snow last night/today, and Brant and I spent the WHOLE DAY playing in it! Oh yeah, the kids had fun too! It was perfect snow for building with, so I made Peaches and Brant built a really cool snow fort with a big cannon, but our camera (which is forever running out of batteries) only had enough juice for one picture. Peaches trumps fort with cannon. Unfortunately, it's supposed to rain tonight, and then be in the 50's tomorrow, so our foot of snow won't last long, but it was a lot of fun while it lasted!

OH! I SO want to get in on this! I'll have dad start practicing that "rollin' down the isle" thing right now! And I can so see Daniel dong some of those moves! And if we find a place with a wide enough isle, all the girls could link arms and do that "Hey Hey we're the Monkeys" walk/dance! (We might have to have more substantial tops on the dresses, to keep all the "parts" contained. And we might have to stitch dad's shirt to his pants to keep it from coming untucked as he rolls down the isle!) Oh yeah, we can do this! (no pressure Lindsey!)

Some one PLEASE tell me we can do this at the next wedding we have! LINDSEY? : ) Oh, did I say that out loud? Sorry Lin, didn't mean to use the W word, but this makes me happy. Don't know why, but it does. Ok, don't make me divorce my husband just so I can have a wedding and do this. I'm not even kidding! On second thought Lin you should probably just elope, I'm pretty sure us curvy girls may not look as cute bouncing down the isle in dresses. One false move and who knows what could fly out! It could be really bad. Oh, well! It seamed like a good idea 10 min ago.

Lindsey & Cody in Shades

Hey all - here's a picture of Lindsey Monkey at 27! With her best beau Cody! This week was full of family news - Katie and Brant are getting bunches back from Uncle Sam, Roxie and Daniel have a brand new key (it fits their brand new ride!), Brannon and Milah also have a brand new key (it fits their brand new place!), and poor Monkey got rear-ended by some college frat boy and has to get her new(est) car fixed! But in the meantime she can be lookin' good' in her new blue shades!
